Solange Necklace (without Pendant)
Regular price
$95.00
The name Solange means "Solemn" or "Dignified" and is the name of a French saint who was a poor shepherdess while she was alive. According to legend, Solange was beheaded by a powerful man who was trying to abduct her. Rather than immediately dying, she rose and carried her head to the Church of Saint-Martin-du-Cros. In its cemetery an altar was built in her honor in 1281. She was a woman who lived and died on her terms - with dignity.Â
This version of the Solange necklace is 21.5 inches long with a 1.5 inch gold toned extension chain made of beautiful flat keshi pearl discs surrounded by crystals!
